Our promise

Every yard is dyed by hand in small batches. Colours shift a little from piece to piece, and that is the point.

How the cloth is dyed

The cloth is tied, stitched or painted with starch, then dipped in indigo again and again until the blue is deep enough.

It dries in the sun, the resist is washed out, and the pattern appears.

How much fabric do I need?

About 2 yards for a top, 4 for a dress and 6 for a kaftan. Ask your tailor if you are unsure.

Will the colour run?

Indigo can bleed a little in the first few washes. Wash it on its own in cold water.

Yes, across Nigeria. Delivery is worked out at checkout.
