Before the props spin

Every flight starts on the ground: the rules, the permit, the weather and the batteries. We sell drones, and we teach people to fly them within the law.

A pilot's path

From first hover to first paid job

An example path through our courses. Everyone moves at their own pace.

  1. Week 1

    Ground school

Airspace, weather, batteries and how Nigerian aviation rules and permits work.

  2. Week 2

    First hover

Two days on the training field with a trainer: take off, hover, orbit and land.

    Your own drone

  4. Month 4

    Mapping course

Plan, fly and process a map, and write it up for a client.

  5. Then

    Permits for paid work

Paid jobs need the right permits. We help you through the paperwork; we do not issue licences.

An example path for this demo store. A course certificate from us is not a licence or a permit.

Pre-flight

Before every flight

The same checklist we use on the field.

  1. Rules and permit

Is this airspace open, and does the flight need a permit?

  2. Weather

Wind under the drone's limit, no rain, good light.

  3. Batteries and props

Charged, warm, no swelling; props with no nicks.

  4. People and places

Clear of crowds, roads, airports and private property.

  5. Home point

Set it, check it, then take off.

Questions

Do I need a permit to fly?

It depends on the drone, where you fly and whether the flight is paid work. Check the current Nigerian aviation rules before every flight; our ground school explains how.

Is your course a licence?

No. It is a training course. You get a certificate of completion from us, which is not a licence or a permit.

Can I fly near the airport?

No. Airports and their approaches are closed to drones without special permission.

Do you repair drones you did not sell?

Yes. Book a repair assessment and bring it in.
