The course
Twelve weeks, week by week
Three days a week at the Yaba branch.
Weeks 1 to 2
Tools and hygiene
Clippers, guards, razors, cleaning and the station.
Weeks 3 to 5
Fades and tapers
Skin, low, mid and high, on practice heads then models.
Weeks 6 to 8
Line-ups and beards
Razor work at the forehead, neck and beard.
Weeks 9 to 10
Twists and scissors
Sponge twists, curls and scissor cuts.
Weeks 11 to 12
On the floor
Paying clients, watched by a senior barber.
