New pieces every Monday. Each one is one of one: when it is sold, it is gone.

Awolowo Road, Ikoyi · Monday edition

One of one, every time.

Antique and vintage furniture, clocks, mirrors and curios. Every piece listed with its era, its measurements and what is wrong with it.

A note from the room

There is only one of everything here. When a piece is sold it is gone, and the next one will be different. We describe each as we find it, marks and all.

How a piece arrives

From a house clearance to the floor

We go and look

Most pieces come from house clearances and families moving, around Lagos and Ibadan.

We write it down

Measurements, era as described, every repair and every mark, before anything is cleaned.

As little as possible

We fix what stops a piece being used, and leave honest wear alone.
