Palm wine is sold to adults over 18 only, and always with food. Water, zobo and kunu are on every table, and nobody is ever rushed to order another.

From the palm
From the tapper to your table
Before dawn
Our tapper climbs the palms at the edge of town and collects the night's sap.
By 9am
It reaches the yard in sealed containers and goes straight into the cold room.
At the table
Poured into a calabash or a clay jug, always with food on the table.
Checked
ID checked at the gate for anyone who looks under 25.

Who can buy palm wine?
Adults over 18 only. We check ID at the gate and on delivery, and we will not serve anyone who cannot show it.
Is there food without pepper?
Yes. Yam and egg sauce, plantain, roast corn and the chicken pepper soup on mild.
Can children come?
Yes, with an adult, on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. They get zobo, kunu or coconut.
